With a focus on botanical medicine, Chinese medicine, and counselling, Chris Pickrell, ND, maintains an affordable access Naturopathic Family Medicine practice at the Herbal Clinic and Dispensary in Toronto. Chris is the founder of the Roncesvalles Community Acupuncture Clinic, a busy walk-in acupuncture clinic in the same location. Applying his knowledge as a Registered Herbalist, Chris is the lead for the Botanical Medicine Program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and the recent author of the textbook Advanced Botanical Prescribing.
Katie Stage, ND, RH (AGH) is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Registered Herbalist who practices general family medicine. Her practice focuses on women’s medicine, gastrointestinal diseases, and mental health. Dr. Stage graduated with high honors from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona, and then completed a residency at SCNM. She currently serves as the Division Director of Therapeutics and Chair of Special Populations at SCNM. She is also faculty senate president.
Dr. Stage frequently lectures on naturopathic and botanical medicine. She also teaches Mayan healing techniques in Arizona and in Belize. Prior to medical school, Dr. Stage graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A./B.S. in anthropology and philosophy. Dr. Stage is an Arizona native. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, cooking, making herbal salves and tinctures, and spending time with her family and friends.
