Allison Garris

Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions

AllisonGarrisUBCNMAllison Garris is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Higher Education at Central Connecticut State University and is excited to move on to the dissertation stage. She began her career at the University of Bridgeport as an undergraduate admissions counselor, but has since transitioned to graduate admissions where she works with incoming naturopathic, nutrition, and counseling students. In the fall of 2018, she will enroll her fifth ND class at the University of Bridgeport. One of the most enjoyable opportunities I have working in admissions is meeting students from all over the U.S. whose passion is naturopathic medicine. University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM) provides students with a wonderful opportunity to explore not only naturopathic medicine, which is complemented by our emphasis on generative and integrative care, but also our commitment to cultural diversity and awareness within our curriculum and clinical rotations.

Molly Murphy

Graduate Admissions Counselor

Molly Murphy graduated in May of 2017 from Southern Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Business Administration. She began her career in higher education a few months after graduating in the Office of Graduate Admissions at SCSU. After a year there she was hired at the University of Bridgeport as a Graduate Admissions Counselor where she works with incoming naturopathic medicine and doctor of chiropractic students. What I love the most about working in graduate admissions is getting the opportunity to help students through the application process and into their ideal program. University of
Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM) prepares students to become physicians who are helping revolutionize healthcare. Our naturopathic medicine curriculum combines coursework such as case studies with over 1300 hours of supervised clinical care to prepare graduates for a plethora of real
world cases.
