Dr. Leila Turner
Leila Turner, a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), runs a busy group practice in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Psychology. In 2007, she co-founded the Naturopathic Medical Student Association. Upon graduating from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly SCNM) in 2007, she was awarded the prestigious Student Leadership Award and the Daphne Blayden Award in recognition of academic excellence, compassion, and perseverance.
Dr. Turner was awarded a 2-year residency in women’s health and general medicine at the Sonoran University Medical Center. Upon completing her residency in 2009, she joined Naturopathic Specialists, where her private practice thrived for seven years. In 2016 she opened the group clinic Living Wellness Medical Center which has a CNME-accredited residency program. Dr. Turner was an assistant professor for the Department of Clinical Sciences at Sonoran University, where she played an integral role in the development of the revised curriculum at Sonoran. In 2011 she was also awarded the Sonoran University Alumni Award. Dr. Turner is a founding member of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians in 2016 and is now the current president.
