The AANMC Residency Committee provides the infrastructure to support the growth of naturopathic post-graduate medical education (PGME) opportunities and assists the profession by offering information regarding the state of PGME. The AANMC Residency Committee is a resource to naturopathic specialty board certification by supporting their PGME requirements. Finally, the AANMC Residency Committee serves the public by expanding the breadth and depth of education for naturopathic graduates.
The AANMC Residency Committee assumed the residency match process from the Naturopathic Post Graduate Association (NPGA) in fall of 2016. The NPGA was formed in 2009 as a residency resource to the naturopathic medicine profession.
