Prerequisite Courses
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. In addition, the following coursework must be completed at the college level. Where applicable, courses must be for science majors and include laboratory components.

Summer Prerequisites
Applicants who are completing prerequisite coursework during the summer term may still be considered for admission, provided that all requirements are successfully completed prior to enrollment.
- Official transcripts reflecting final grades must be submitted to the Admissions Office as soon as they become available.
- Applicants must provide evidence of enrollment in pending prerequisite courses at the time of application.
- All prerequisite courses must be completed with a minimum C grade.
- Completion of summer prerequisites does not guarantee admission but allows the applicant to remain eligible for consideration and interview.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to plan accordingly to ensure timely completion and submission of all required coursework.

The Ana G. Méndez University Doctoral Program in Naturopathic Medicine is designed to be completed in four (4) academic years of full-time study.
The curriculum includes:

- Didactic and laboratory training during the first years, covering biomedical sciences and naturopathic modalities
- Clinical training component consisting of 1.5 years of supervised practice in the program clinic, plus frequent health fairs in a wide range of communities.
- A total of 4,930 contact hours, including coursework and clinical experience.

The program follows a structured, full-time schedule, guiding student progress as a group the curriculum sequence to ensure timely completion and eligibility for licensing examinations.

Second year: $35,325.
Third year: $40,075.
Fourth year: $24,400.
