The Panelist for this event are:
Courtney graduated from Arkansas State University in 2013, with a BA in Chemistry. At the time, she was a pre-pharmacy student, and decided that it was no longer the career that was best suited for her. By that time, she had worked nearly four years at the Arkansas Bioscience Institute, studying neuroscience and developing an interest in innovation, and an appreciation for the concept of healing a person as a whole, and not just their disease. After taking some time to figure out what medical career was the best fit for her, she discovered Naturopathic medicine. She was inspired to educate people to maintain their health, outside of seeing their physicians and taking their prescription medications.
Courtney began her path to becoming a naturopathic physician in 2017 at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is now a 4thyear ND student with a beautiful one-year old son. Not only does she seek to educate her patients on the naturopathic principles, she has also grown to love encouraging her peers that they can both do what they love and cultivate their family life too. Upon graduating next year, Courtney plans to specialize in endocrinology and aesthetics.

Katarzyna Podolska is a 4th year ND student at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher Campus. Over the past four years Katarzyna has held several leadership roles such as: Boucher Naturopathic Student Association Secretary, Boucher Herb Club Secretary, and eventually went on to become President of the Boucher Herb Club. Katarzyna graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Language and Cultural studies (Spanish/Polish).
Family is a top priority for Katarzyna and it was not going to be a reason to stop her from doing what she had always dreamed of, becoming a Naturopathic Doctor. Katarzyna started her first year of Naturopathic Medical School four months after giving birth to her second child. Many people doubted her and said she would never be able to complete her degree. With ten months remaining until graduation and having raised two children (6/4) she is the perfect example of what hard work and dedication can achieve if you set your mind to it.
