ryan-bradley_medDr. Ryan Bradley developed and supervises the Diabetes & Cardiovascular Wellness Program at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. His special interest is in treating diabetes types 1 & 2, impaired glucose tolerance, cardiovascular conditions, and metabolic syndrome (also known as syndrome X). He is the principal investigator for ongoing research studies on common drug-nutrient combinations and the role of antioxidants in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Dr. Bradley lectures on holistic and integrative medicine in diabetes care for the Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation; for the American Diabetes Association; and for theWashington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP). In addition, Dr. Bradley has co-authored numerous articles for The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, Alternative Medicine Review, and the Journal of Investigative Medicine. Dr. Bradley received his ND degree from Bastyr University and his BS from North Carolina State University. He is currently enrolled in coursework at the University of Washington department of epidemiology. Dr. Bradley serves on the board of directors of the WANP and chairs the Guideline Development Committee for the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP). He is also a professional member of the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Bradley was recently awarded a five-year multidisciplinary clinical research training fellowship at the University of Washington.
