Today I attended a seminar from US Representative Pete Aguilar for students impacted by the closure of for-profit programs. I can’t stress enough the risk to students in attending non-accredited programs. There was a room full of students – who lost all their credits, money and more importantly time. Time that could have been spent toward a viable degree. Time that could have been spent toward successful future.
Every week – the AANMC fields questions from students about completing naturopathic degrees online. Online ND programs are not accredited with the CNME (the only agency recognized by the US Department of Education) and will not lead to a degree eligible for licensure anywhere in North America.
Accredited naturopathic medical programs have a strong history of empowering students with a solid education; the tools needed to be successful, safe and well-trained practitioners.
Accreditation matters.
If you were impacted by a closed school, please reach out to a reputable agency like the ones below – and NEVER pay for a service saying they will help you discharge your loans.
Good luck finding your path.
In health,
Dr. Jo
