The Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges (AANMC) is pleased to announce that Christine Girard, ND, MPH will serve as its new president. Dr. Girard succeeds Fraser Smith, MATD, ND, who is completing his term in the position after three years of outstanding service.
Dr. Girard is President of National University of Natural Medicine, and has more than 20 years of academic and clinical experience in naturopathic medicine.
Harlan Patterson – President of Bastyr University will serve as AANMC Vice President and Michael Schanz – President of Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher Campus will continue in his service as AANMC Treasurer.
The AANMC Board of Directors and Executive Committee are actively engaged in navigating the challenges that face us all in higher education, and are committed to proactively ensuring the success of the accredited naturopathic medical programs and our collective professional communities.
