Here’s the latest happenings from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher Campus
A Better Website for a Better Experience
CCNM – Boucher Campus is proud to announce the arrival of our new website later this summer! In fact, we will be launching two brand new sites, sure to enhance the experience of our current, former, and future students!
- One site will be dedicated solely to the clinic and will focus on patient information
- The other will be focused on the school and all of the programs and events happening every day.
We are excited that our vision for a clean, modern site using our current branding and colour pallet is finally coming together. Here’s a sneak peek!
Improving how we educate the public about Naturopathic Medicine
In addition to our new website, this fall we will be relaunching our student newsletter, Natural Selections.
Written and edited by a group of dedicated students in conjunction with our marketing team, Natural Selections is an electronic publication aimed at helping the general population learn more about Naturopathic Medicine.
Our Managing Editor, Heather Thomson, is a third-year student with a passion for both Naturopathic Medicine and Journalism. Natural Selections will be available four times a year in September, January, April, and July.
Making a Positive Contribution to the ND Community
The LINC Mentorship Program (Leading Innovation in the Naturopathic Community) is in full swing and both mentors and mentees say the experience has made a positive difference in their lives.
To date, over 20 Boucher alumni have volunteered as mentors and we would like to thank each and every one of them for their time, energy and support.
This year Boucher will be graduating 44 new doctors and our goal is to pair up each one with an experienced ND.
We are seeking several additional mentors, with three or more years of practice experience, to partner up with our ND 16s over the next several months.
Your time commitment to the program is as you see fit, with the average mentor offering approximately 2-4 hours of support each month. If you are outside of BC and want to become a mentor, it is easy to maintain a relationship with a mentee by email, Skype or Facetime.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor please email Mark Williams, Dean of Student Services: mwilliams@CCNM – Boucher Campus.org.
