Marianne Marchese, ND
Dr. Marchese’s background spans clinical practice, teaching, writing, speaking, consulting and professional advocacy. She is an accomplished presenter, educator, and writer; has developed post-graduate level curriculum and conferences, provided continuing medical education presentations, and media interviews on topics of women’s health, integrated healthcare, environmental medicine, and chronic illness.
She graduated from Creighton University as an Occupational Therapist and for over 12 years treated neurological and orthopedic patients. She graduated from NUNM naturopathic medical school in 2002 and was named to Phoenix Magazine’s Top Doctor Issue as one of the top naturopathic physicians in 2021, 2016, 2014 and 2010.
Dr. Marchese is currently associated professor at NUNM teaching environmental medicine and is the Clinical Innovation and Development Manager for NUNM Health Centers. Throughout her career she has been an adjunct faculty at Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe, AZ, Life Chiropractic College in Hayward CA, and Bastyr University-San Diego. She is a highly sought-after speaker and presents at numerous physician conferences. She has appeared on Fox news Phoenix, ABC news Phoenix, Numerous radio shows and podcasts.
Dr. Marchese is a consultant for organizations such as Neurological Health Foundation and TAP Integrative providing subject matter expertise. She is the author of the best-selling book “8 Weeks to Women’s Wellness” and for over 12 years wrote the environmental health column for the Townsend letter. She has had articles published in The Arizona Republic, Raising Arizona Kids, Arizona Green Magazine, Scottsdale Living Magazine, Natural Medicine Journal, Real Simple Magazine and Natural Solutions Magazine. She has developed supplements for Priority One, Vitanica and health Freedom Nutrition.
Dr. Marchese served on the State of Arizona Naturopathic Physicians Medical Board appointed in 2013 by Governor Jan Brewer. She is past Vice President of the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education, past vice president of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association, and past founding board member of the National Association of Environmental Medicine.
Liz Muñiz, ND
Liz Muñiz, ND, is a licensed naturopathic doctor and founder of The Healing Space – Integrative Medicine & Wellness in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Prior to opening her own practice, she served as Lead Physician at a holistic mobile clinic, helping expand access to naturopathic and integrative healthcare across Puerto Rico.
Today, she combines evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with acupuncture and other integrative therapies to help patients better understand their health, build resilience, and achieve lasting wellness through personalized, whole-person care.
Beyond clinical practice, she is passionate about community health initiatives, patient education, and expanding access to preventive, integrative healthcare. Dr. Liz is committed to making naturopathic medicine more visible, accessible, and impactful within her community.
Dharti Patel, DMD, ND, FDS RCS(Ed), MSOM, DAcHM
Dr. Dharti Patel is a dual-trained dentist and naturopathic physician dedicated to whole-body health and patient-centered care. She brings decades of experience in oral medicine and integrative health, blending advanced clinical expertise with a compassionate approach. A national lecturer and former faculty leader at Rutgers University and NYU, Dr. Patel now teaches student clinicians in the Sonoran University clinic and serves on the University’s Board of Trustees. Recognized as a Top Dentist in Phoenix Magazine (2020–2025), she is committed to helping patients feel heard and supported on their wellness journey.
