Autumn is great time to reflect on the seasons that have passed and look to the upcoming months and the New Year ahead. As the AANMC grows, we continue to consider what it means to be of service to students and advisors seeking information about naturopathic medical school. Our online events are one of the ways we offer valuable information free of charge. Through our webinars we have successful NDs discuss topics that they are passionate about and provide valuable pearls to prospective, current students and alumni. To register for one of our upcoming webinars visit our events page.
This month, we will be hosting our first Twitter Chat on How to Read Food Nutrition Labels. During this chat, I will answer questions and tweet valuable information on how you can make mindful and educated food choices when you’re at the grocery store. Food and nutrition labels can be confusing and I hope to demystify some of the jargon on the labels that we see everyday. We are looking forward to creating new ways to offer you information, answer your questions, and help you take the next steps in becoming a successful naturopathic doctor. Lastly, AANMC has been working diligently to build partnerships with organizations and universities including Georgetown University in Washington, DC. I just had the privilege of speaking to their Master’s in Complementary and Alternative Medicine students this week.
As always, please consider us a resource for advances in naturopathic medical education and contact us with any questions you have along your path.
In health,
